Google has been hard at work an open source operating system for low cost netbooks. According to Google representatives, they have designed the OS to load each program in the tab of a browser instead of a window. This and other features of Google Chrome have been designed to optimize performance and impact speed, providing a load time of a mere 7 seconds!
